One winter day, while giving a coin to a beggar, Denis Castin felt the need to go further. His indignation gave rise to a simple idea: what if, together, we could house these destitute people? With the help of Gwenaël Morvan, they developed the project and created the association. The year was 2007. The initial objective: to collect funds to house the homeless and find volunteers to accompany them.
Over time, the mode of action became clearer and major principles were established: the association had to own the accommodation; it was spread out in the city in order to promote social diversity; the social link, essential for reintegration, was provided by professionals and volunteers...
Since then, the association has been established throughout France, in Toulouse, Angers, Nantes, La Ferté sous Jouarre, Lille, Lyon and the Vendée.
