Which merchants can I use my card with?

By default, your card is valid at all merchants worldwide who accept Visa. However, the organization that gave you your card may have limited the acceptance network. Please consult the "Make a purchase" section under your card to find out exactly where you can spend your card.

Is my card valid for purchases abroad?

If your card is in Euro, then you can pay for your purchases in any other foreign currency.
If your card is in a currency other than Euro, then you can only pay for your purchases in the same currency as your card.

How can I make a donation to an association?

You can donate all or part of your card balance to any organization that accepts Visa payment cards.

Making a donation couldn't be easier:

  • Visit the website of the association of your choice
  • Enter the amount of your donation and select the payment method 'Visa'.
  • Enter your card number, date and security code on the payment page
  • If the site asks for it, copy the 3D Secure code you received on the telephone number you gave when you registered.
  • Your card will be automatically debited for the amount of your donation.
  • You can even get a tax receipt if the association offers one!

My order has been cancelled. Will my card be refunded?

Yes, if you have paid for a purchase with your card and your order is cancelled, your card is expected to be re-credited according to the merchant's terms and conditions.

Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any dispute between you and a merchant.

How long is my balance valid for?

Each amount offered and credited to your card has a validity period determined by the organization offering you the card. You can keep track of your upcoming expiration dates by clicking on the "Expirations" button under your card.

You'll be alerted by email a few days before each expiration date to avoid unpleasant surprises.

Can I top up my card balance?

Yes. If you wish to make a purchase that exceeds the balance on your card, you can top up your balance by making an online payment.
Simply click on the "Top up my balance" button on the bottom of your card and follow the instructions.

Can my additional balance be reimbursed?

Yes, if you have topped up your balance and have not used it for a purchase, it will be automatically credited back to your credit card within 3 working days.

Can I spend my balance in instalments?

Yes, your card balance can be split. You can spend it on as many transactions as you like, right down to the last cent.
